Matt Burton

Matt has more than 10 years of digital marketing and communications experience. At American Express, he has led online marketing strategy for the Membership Rewards program and social and customer experience efforts for the ZYNC from American Express Charge Card. In his current role as Director of Social Media Communications, he is responsible for the management of American Express’s social communities and execution of social media initiatives to help increase customer advocacy and engagement, heighten visibility of American Express, and drive meaningful business results. Prior to American Express, he managed marketing communications for Major League Baseball. When not immersed in the digital world, Matt, who resides in Hoboken, NJ with his wife and son, enjoys reading, sports and movies. A health enthusiast, he enjoys various fitness activities and has completed a half-marathon and two Tough Mudder events.
