Lisa Pearson leads the effort to build and strengthen Bazaarvoice’s presence and relevance, with a focus on further enabling the success of the company’s sales teams. As head of Global Marketing, she oversees the structure, strategy, and execution of Bazaarvoice marketing efforts worldwide, including branding, demand generation and field enablement. Her organization is responsible for positioning Bazaarvoice’s growth strategy and cultivating opportunities through solutions, client and event marketing, media and analyst relations, advertising, and executive visibility programs.
With more than 20 years of global marketing experience, Lisa brings tremendous passion for driving marketing strategy and collaborating across functions to accelerate business success. She previously served as Bazaarvoice’s Vice President of Global Marketing, leading all brand strategy and communications teams while creating and implementing a new field enablement initiative.
Prior to joining Bazaarvoice, Lisa led both brand marketing and agency teams for a variety of Fortune 100 companies, including American Express, Dell, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble. She held the position of Executive Vice President at both DeVries and Euro RSCG in New York City, serving as General Manager of Euro RSCG’s Western division for several years. Her leadership running integrated marketing programs in a variety of industries such as social / digital, eCommerce, technology, consumer brands and B2B has allowed her to develop expertise in all marketing functions from lead generation to crisis communications and change management to award-winning creative advertising.
Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Tulane University. She currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Flow Nonfiction, an Austin-based documentary filmmaking company focused on socially responsible businesses, and frequently speaks on trends in marketing and social data for the American Marketing Association, Marketing 360, McCombs School of Business, NYU Stern School of Business, SXSW® Interactive and others.
